Distinguer les défauts
Des mailles régulières ne garantissent pas le bon montage. Relevez dimensions extérieures et diagonales, puis recherchez les déformations aux angles et aux bords. Convenez des écarts acceptables avant commande.
Définir l'appui de mesure
Précisez si le contrôle porte sur le panneau libre ou installé dans un montage défini. Documentez surface de référence et points d'appui pour éviter qu'un contrôleur n'aplatisse le panneau pendant qu'un autre le mesure librement.

Montez l'échantillon sans forcer. Vérifiez jeux, contacts et joints entre panneaux ; actionnez charnières et verrou d'une porte. Si des brides redressent le panneau, faites valider l'assemblage obtenu : son insertion ne suffit pas à démontrer sa géométrie correcte.
