Indiquer température normale, pointes, paliers, fréquence de chauffe et refroidissement, démarrages et arrêts. Un maximum unique ne représente pas tout le service.
Identifier l’atmosphère
Préciser gaz, vapeurs et substances présentes. Oxydation et corrosion à chaud dépendent du milieu et de l’alliage ; demander une sélection adaptée au lieu de reprendre une toile de service ambiant.

Décrire matière portée, retenues et dimensions à conserver avec le dessin de l’équipement. Faire vérifier dilatation, appuis et déformation durable avec les données de la nuance choisie.
Organiser les contrôles
Définir observations et mesures après service ou essai représentatif, avec conditions opératoires. Archiver alliage, fils et supports ensemble : un nom inox familier ne reproduit pas forcément les hypothèses initiales.
