READING NOTES
Begin at the receiving point
Establish how bundles will leave the vehicle and move to storage. Record available unloading equipment, access restrictions and the routes to each installation area. Ask for bundle dimensions and gross weight as well as the number of panels. A package that is easy to load at the dispatch end may be difficult to handle at a constrained construction site.
Support the mesh during handling
The packing proposal should show bearers, contact protection and the locations intended for handling. Keep straps from concentrating force on unsupported wires or finished frame edges. Have a competent person confirm the lifting method and lifting accessories for the actual package; ordinary packing straps should not be assumed to be lifting attachments. Separate loose fittings so they cannot shift through the mesh.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Pack in installation groups
Arrange panel types and labels around the sequence in which crews need them. Identify mixed bundles clearly and include a packing list accessible before the bundle is opened. Plan a stable place for partial bundles after straps are removed. Receiving photographs and a brief damage record help distinguish transport distortion from problems introduced during subsequent storage or distribution.
