READING NOTES
Relate the fence to the landscape
Map paths, planted areas, entrances and changes in paving or ground level. Decide how the fence line relates to these features before fixing post locations. A clear layout helps avoid short leftover panel sections at a gate or an unexpected junction with a wall.
Specify the intended appearance
Describe the green rectangular frame, welded mesh and round posts separately. Include the agreed color reference, cap form and visible fasteners. Where appearance matters, review an assembled sample in a setting that represents the intended viewing distance and surrounding landscape.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Coordinate dimensions before setting out
Confirm panel width, connection geometry and the reference used for post spacing. Check the gate and corner details alongside straight sections. Foundations and anchoring should follow the responsible designer's approved details for the ground and adjacent surfaces.
Prepare an orderly installation sequence
Match labeled panels, posts and hardware to the current layout before site work proceeds. Have installers verify the assembly dimensions before establishing the full run of posts. Record any field changes and review the final fence for alignment, cap completion and the accepted finish before the project is handed over.
