READING NOTES
Map movement around the enclosure
Show pedestrian routes, vehicle aisles, storage faces and equipment operating areas on the plan. Include the height and handling route of typical goods. Measuring only the area to be enclosed can miss the clear space required to move items through a door or around a corner.
Locate doors deliberately
Identify who uses each entrance, what passes through it and how the door opens. Coordinate access arrangements with the site's emergency and operational planning. Show the required clear opening and surrounding obstructions rather than describing a door only by its nominal leaf width.

Review the fixing interfaces
Record the floor condition and any proposed connection to existing structures. Do not assume that a storage rack provides a suitable support for a partition without review by the responsible parties. Have the installation designer confirm the posts, fixings and junction details for the approved layout.
Order by assembly and zone
Schedule panels, posts, doors and hardware together, with identifiers matching the warehouse plan. Check maintenance access and the ability to replace a damaged panel. At handover, verify the partition against the approved layout and record the installed component references for future alterations.
