READING NOTES
Explain the application
Describe what the mesh will filter, screen or separate, or how it will function as a barrier. Include process media, temperature and cleaning conditions where relevant. These inputs help identify questions about material compatibility before price becomes the main basis for selection.
Define the mesh construction
Specify the required opening or filtration basis, wire diameter and weave or welded construction. If only a mesh count is currently known, ask bidders to state the corresponding proposed wire and opening details. Do not leave those assumptions hidden inside different quotations.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
State the finished supply form
Identify rolls, cut pieces or a fabricated component, with exact dimensions and a drawing reference where needed. Include tolerances, edges, flattening, joints and mating interfaces. For an assembly, request a clear statement of which supports, rings or other parts are included.
Make delivery and acceptance comparable
Give quantities by item, packaging needs and the required material or inspection documents. Ask suppliers to list deviations, exclusions and proposed alternatives explicitly. Keep the accepted enquiry revision with the order so the final agreement captures both the mesh specification and the work required to deliver a usable component.
