DIRECT ANSWER

Confirm the use before the specification

Connect shipment checks to the approved order, drawings and sample before goods leave the supplier.

Bring the application, site conditions and delivery requirements into the decision so the quotation can be built around a real project.

READING NOTES

01

Assemble the inspection reference

Use the accepted specification, current drawings, sample record and packing requirements as one inspection pack. Confirm the item list and agreed sampling approach before the visit or remote review. A selection of attractive product photographs cannot establish that the ordered specification has been supplied.

02

Check the product itself

Verify the relevant material identification, overall dimensions, mesh openings and wire details. Examine the edges, flatness and finish against the acceptance criteria. Record where measurements were taken, and identify the inspected piece or package so the evidence can be traced later.

03

Reconcile quantities and accessories

Compare counted items with the order and packing list. For a fence system, include posts, caps, brackets and gate components rather than inspecting only the panels. Identify approved spares and partial shipments separately so discrepancies are visible before loading.

04

Review shipment readiness

Check labels, separators, edge protection and package condition. Record any nonconforming items and the agreed resolution before the shipment is released. Retain the inspection report with photographs showing item identities, giving the receiving team a practical reference when the goods arrive.
