DIRECT ANSWER

Confirm the use before the specification

Map each perforated zone against supports, interfaces and sealed areas instead of applying one hole pattern across the whole panel.

Bring the application, site conditions and delivery requirements into the decision so the quotation can be built around a real project.

READING NOTES

01

Map the functions on one drawing

Begin with the panel outline and mark where ventilation, visibility or screening is actually needed. Add supports, sensors, brackets and interfaces that require solid material. Give each perforated field its own boundary and reference dimensions. A pattern specification without zone limits leaves the fabricator to decide where holes begin and end, which can create avoidable interference with the equipment behind it.

02

Define the transitions

State whether the hole rows continue across separate zones or restart within each field. Show the treatment of partial holes at boundaries and around cutouts. Review narrow solid strips and attachment areas with the panel designer, particularly where forces enter the sheet. If a region needs sealing, the designer must validate the complete interface rather than relying on the absence of holes alone.

03

Review a complete layout

Use a full panel drawing to inspect the relationship between all zones. A small pattern sample cannot reveal a field shifted toward a bracket or an inconsistent gap between zones. Tie the approved layout to the order revision. When a support or sensor moves, update the perforation boundaries at the same time so manufacturing receives a coordinated set of information.
