READING NOTES
Obtain the assembly limits
Start with the equipment designer's instructions for the complete filter. Record the permitted operating and cleaning conditions, including differential pressure and flow direction. Do not derive a cleaning pressure from the mesh material name or assume the forward flow arrangement supports reverse flow equally.
Identify the fouling material
Describe the retained particles, deposits and process changes associated with blockage. Record how fouling affects normal operation. Ask the process specialist whether the proposed cleaning method addresses that material and how released contaminants will leave the system.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Review the supported layers
Use an assembly section to identify filter media, supports, seams and seals. Refer any proposed change of cleaning medium or sequence to the equipment and materials reviewers. The purpose is to preserve the approved assembly while establishing a workable cleaning process.
Track results consistently
Record operating condition before cleaning and recovery afterwards using the site's approved measures. Inspect accessible media and joints as instructed, documenting damage or incomplete cleaning. If performance does not recover, investigate the cause rather than simply increasing cleaning intensity. Keep the accepted cleaning procedure linked to the exact filter component reference for future replacements.
