READING NOTES
Separate wear from other failures
Keep the removed screen or detailed photographs and mark damaged locations on a diagram. Ask the equipment specialist to distinguish abrasive wear from impact damage, loose mounting or an unsuitable support detail. Reordering a heavier wire without that diagnosis may leave the underlying problem unresolved.
Record the feed conditions
Describe particle shape, size distribution, moisture and how material reaches the screen. Include changes between normal and difficult operating periods. These observations help compare a proposed cloth with the actual service, rather than only the target separation size.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Coordinate wire and mounting
Provide aperture, wire diameter, weave, edge preparation and the equipment's approved fastening arrangement. Review any change as a complete screen proposal. A replacement must meet the separation requirement and fit the intended installation; neither characteristic should be inferred from a photograph.
Use a practical service record
After replacement, document separation results, cleaning interruptions and the locations where deterioration appears. Compare service under similar conditions before concluding that one specification performs better. Retain the accepted screen drawing and mounting reference, helping future orders reproduce the configuration that was actually reviewed rather than a loosely remembered material description.
