READING NOTES
Define the finished part
Start with the component that must fit into the equipment or frame. Give overall dimensions, orientation and quantity for each piece. State whether the quoted size refers to the usable mesh area or the outside boundary, including any projecting wires or finished edging.
Identify critical tolerances
Highlight dimensions that control assembly rather than assigning one broad tolerance to every feature. Explain where and how measurements will be taken. For a nonrectangular part, provide a dimensioned drawing or approved digital profile with a clear revision reference.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Describe acceptable edges
Specify the required cut condition, loose wire control and any edge finishing. Include flatness expectations and whether the part must arrive ready for direct assembly. A cut piece can meet its overall dimensions yet still require additional work if these details are left open.
Package for the next operation
Agree stack quantities, separators, labels and protection for delicate edges. Request a first article review when the mesh must enter a repeat assembly process. Preserve the approved part and inspection record so later batches can be checked against the same practical acceptance basis.
