READING NOTES
Establish the approved application
State whether the specified product is intended for a wall, fence top or another controlled security location. Installation suitability and access precautions should be reviewed by qualified personnel. The purchasing brief should identify the approved location without attempting to derive a security arrangement from catalogue photos.
Define the coil description
Request coil diameter, turn count, blade profile, core and strip material, coating and clip arrangement. Ask how the quoted coverage is defined, including whether it refers to packaged or installed condition. Weight alone cannot show whether two offers contain equivalent products.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |

| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Clarify included components
List the support and connecting items required by the approved project detail. Separate product supply from installation services in the quotation. Confirm which party provides specialist handling arrangements and suitable packaging for the exposed edges before delivery is scheduled.
Review documentation before dispatch
Check item labels against the purchase order and ask for photographs that identify the packaged coils and accessory quantities. Retain the accepted product drawing and stated coverage basis. Any substitution affecting the coil form, clips or support compatibility should be reviewed before it enters the shipment.
