DIRECT ANSWER

Confirm the use before the specification

Use package IDs, specification references and destination marks to simplify receipt and site distribution.

Bring the application, site conditions and delivery requirements into the decision so the quotation can be built around a real project.

READING NOTES

01

Decide what the receiver needs

Start with the information required to identify goods without opening every bundle. For multiple mesh sizes, include a readable product description, dimensions and quantity. Add the project or order reference so similarly packaged items from different deliveries do not become mixed during storage.

02

Assign unique package numbers

Use a bundle, pallet or carton ID that also appears on the packing list. Where a package contains several items, identify its contents clearly. Do not rely on color alone to distinguish specifications, especially when labels may be viewed in poor light or copied into receiving records.

03

Agree label position and protection

Specify where marks should appear and how they will remain legible through handling and transit. Consider whether the wrapping will be removed before the material reaches the installation area. Essential identification may need to accompany the inner bundle as well as the outer package.

04

Verify before dispatch

Review a sample label and compare package IDs with the final packing list. For phased projects, include the installation zone or batch where useful. Save the accepted label format with the purchasing documents so later deliveries preserve the same identification method.
