READING NOTES
Define the architectural role
Identify whether the panel serves as a decorative screen, equipment enclosure, ceiling element or part of a ventilation opening. Record the functional requirements and the surfaces visible to users. The same pattern may look suitable across these uses while requiring a different supporting arrangement.
Coordinate pattern and structure
Specify hole shape, pitch, sheet material, thickness and solid margins. Show mounting holes, bends and panel joints in the drawing. Have the responsible designer review the complete panel and supports for the project conditions rather than inferring structural suitability from open area alone.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Check the functional opening
Where air must pass through the assembly, include the frame, backing and other obstructions in the engineering review. Ask for the relevant performance assessment or testing for the proposed arrangement. A decorative sample does not establish the ventilation performance of the finished enclosure.
Approve the visual reference
Review a sample or mockup under representative light and viewing distance. Confirm pattern direction, color, joint treatment and edge finish. Include access for cleaning or panel replacement in the final arrangement, then preserve the approved appearance and drawing references in the order.
