READING NOTES
Describe the feed accurately
Provide representative information about particle shape, moisture, stickiness and how material reaches the screen. A dry, freely moving feed presents different operating questions from damp material that collects on the surface. Identify the target separation and the consequences of oversize passing through.
Specify the screen cloth
Record actual aperture dimensions, wire diameter, material and crimp or weave construction. Include the finished panel size and its orientation in the machine. Request a labeled sample when an existing screen is being replaced, especially if the old part has stretched or worn.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Review support and fixing
Show the equipment's support arrangement, edge connections and replacement path. The equipment designer should review impact, vibration and loading before the mesh is finalized. Do not infer suitable support spacing from the opening size or the appearance of a sample alone.
Plan for cleaning and replacement
Discuss how buildup will be removed and how worn cloth will be identified. Where performance is uncertain, test the candidate with representative feed before ordering the full quantity. Record the accepted specification and operating observations so future adjustments address the actual screening problem.
