READING NOTES
Describe the complete assembly
A framed fence enquiry should identify the square opening welded mesh, rectangular frame and round posts as separate components of one system. If the intended appearance is a green framed panel, include the finish reference and visible connection details rather than relying on the product name.
Coordinate panel and post geometry
Provide panel dimensions, frame sections and connection positions on an assembly drawing. Clarify the reference points used to measure panel width and post spacing. Check that caps, brackets and bolts are included in the same drawing revision and in the quotation scope.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Review the boundary layout
Show straight runs, corners, gates and changes in level. The responsible designer should confirm foundations and structural requirements for the site. Identify unusual junctions early, because a standard straight panel detail may not resolve every end or transition.
Inspect an assembled reference
Where fit or appearance matters, review a representative panel to post connection before volume production. Check alignment, access to fasteners and the agreed finish. Keep the approved assembly record with the bill of materials so panels, posts and hardware are purchased against matching dimensions.
