READING NOTES
Find the parts that interrupt work
Review the installation sequence and identify items whose absence would stop a section from being completed. These may include end fittings, particular brackets or gate hardware. Use the actual layout and assembly details rather than applying one spare allowance indiscriminately to every component.
Describe each spare precisely
Record dimensions, material, finish and compatibility with the approved posts or panels. Include drawings or supplier part references where available. Similar looking bolts, clips or caps may serve different junctions, so the spare list should explain where each item belongs in the fence system.
DECISION TABLE
Confirm the parameters against the project
Start with the application, then carry the required checks into the enquiry.Swipe horizontally on mobile to view the full table| Decision area | What to assess | Confirm in the enquiry |

| Application | Define the actual application | Environment, function and installation |
| Specification | Confirm product and dimensions | Material, specification, quantity and tolerance |
| Delivery | Align packing and destination | Timing, packing, drawings or photos |
Separate installation and service needs
Discuss likely handling losses with the installer and maintenance requirements with the operator. Agree the quantities through that review. Consider the distance from the supplier, availability of replacements and whether components are customized when deciding what stock is useful to retain.
Make the stock accessible
Package and label spares by component ID, with a contents list that can be checked at handover. Store the relevant assembly information alongside the maintenance record. Reconcile unused installation material before finalizing service stock so missing parts are discovered while the project documentation is still readily available.
